Liz has been playing the piano for over 20 years, and loves every minute of it. Though she specializes in jazz, Liz is also classically trained and enjoys playing and teaching music of all kinds. Liz attended jazz juries at the Reno Jazz Festival, where she competed with bands from all over the US, and performed with several independent jazz combos.

On top of her background in piano, she also has experience in auxiliary percussion for orchestra pit, as well as 4 years in the Will C Wood Marching Band. As a teacher, Liz has taught a variety of ages--from 6 to 64--and believes you are never too old or too young to start playing your own music. Over the past 6 years, Liz has taught private lessons at Live Music Center in Vacaville, CA and is happy to continue sharing her love of music with students at Village Music
